Hi! My name is Maddie, and I am the face behind Enchanted Novelties. What started out as a therapeutic outlet while planning a wedding during the pandemic turned into a full-time job of creating beautiful bookish pieces for you all. I am so grateful that my art has evolved into a magical place you all can come and be surrounded by what we love most- books! Thank you for being a part of this journey and helping to give back in the process. Thank you especially for allowing me to make my dreams come true!
Some fun facts about me: I have a Bachelors degree in psychology (catch me listening to a true crime podcast anytime), I studied print making in Italy, I love cheese, rom-coms, all things Halloween, and cozying up with a book and cup of tea.

I was in this store today with my 4 adult kids and we stayed for almost an hour. This is the epitome of a book lovers bookstore. It is comfy, cozy, imaginative and special. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Every corner brings a unique way of displaying books and piquing your interest. I obviously highly recommend you stop in!

Absolutely loved my visit to Enchanted Novelties in downtown Harrison! Nestled in the heart of this charming town, the shop has a quaint and cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel welcome. Every corner of the space is thoughtfully arranged, showcasing a delightful mix of creative, handcrafted, and whimsical items—perfect for gifts or a special treat for yourself. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you can truly feel the care and creativity. A hidden gem worth checking out!

I pride myself on shopping local when possible even if it means having a limited selection at times… that is not the case in this store. I could have easily walked out with 25 books from here. Such a beautifully curated shop and amazing staff. They were so helpful, kind and seemed genuinely excited to work there and show me some of the gorgeous special editions they had in stock. This is a must visit bookstore, and needs to move to the top of your list!
